Our office in Indianapolis is cleaned with environmentally friendly cleaning agents and we encourage our remote employees to do the same.
Where possible, we use recycled or environmentally friendly paper in our printers. We encourage employees to reduce unnecessary paper usage – including double-sided printing and photo-reduction when appropriate.
GO recycles office paper, cardboard, print/toner cartridges, aluminum cans, plastic & glass bottles and other items and office items that can be reused are collected and donated to employees or local schools.
All light bulbs in our office are energy-saving, which includes motion sensitive lighting. All lights are switched off when not needed. All computers are switched off at sockets when not in use.
GO Support for Green Initiatives / Reforestation Projects
GO supports various green initiatives and reforestation projects, encouraging clients to get involved and contribute to broader environmental efforts.
For example, GO planted 18,000 trees in Africa in 2024, through OneTree Planted.
GO Employee Engagement
We encourage our employees to invest their time in volunteering, attending relevant training sessions, engage in GO specific sustainability activities and share local initiatives.
GO encourages employees to volunteer and participate in local sustainability initiatives, fostering a culture of community involvement and environmental stewardship. For example, every year we celebrate Earth Day with local participants.
Sustainability ideas, tips, and activities are shared in a specific GO Slack Channel: #gosustainability.
The involvement of employees in sustainability efforts, such as volunteering and participating in eco-friendly activities, has led to higher engagement and morale.
GO Sustainability Planning Team
The GO Sustainability Planning team, installed in early 2024, provides the GO team with tips, biweekly Earth Avenger alerts and bimonthly team activities that contribute to their knowledge and understanding of sustainability issues.
